Apple launches their photo management, iPhoto where you can edit and customize images straight to “the new iPad.” iPhoto’s release comes in trio package, which includes the most important apps you’ll find on iPad: iMovie, GarageBand and iPhoto.

The app supports 19 megapixels, and it looks like users will enjoy this new software release with its popular features such as enhancement tools, social network sharing, Flickr, email and more. The iPhoto app caters for those who “want to do more with your photos.”

It’s not just an ordinary photo app. You’ll appreciate this gesture-heavy feature, and it is simple to use. You can actually watch a demo on YouTube and see how it goes. With the gesture-heavy feature, you can use the new bezel which allows users to swipe from left side of the screen to search for other photos in the album.

Swipe from the left side of the screen and there you can simply tap on an image, and immediately the editing interface will pop up. If you want to check some more photos in thumbnail view, just swipe from the side.

Check out another amazing feature of the app by double tapping a single photo. The iPhoto will scan your entire library and find all the images that look similar by comparing them. If you’re familiar with photo editing, you are free to customize your photos by tapping a specific area and simply drag to brighten or sharpen it.

The iPhoto is packed with brush palettes, tools, saturation, red-eye corrector and more. Other functions are sharpen, soften, darken, and for more editing, the general repair tool works well. The new iPhoto app is available for $4.99 in the App Store.

There are rumors spreading throughout the Internet about the prices and features of iPad 3. It seems this mysterious product of new generation iPad 3 is anticipated by Apple fans. There are so many tablets to choose from in the market and tech enthusiasts have their own favorite flagship device from the different leading brands. You can either have an iPad, a BlackBerry PlayBook or an Android-powered Galaxy Tab if you’re a Samsung fanatic. Well, we’ve got good news for you.

Samsung has just released another tablet this year, and it’s not just an ordinary tablet. Surprisingly, what we are about to introduce to you has software tools for the S-Pen stylus. Shortly after the release of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, now here comes the large slate Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. It works with a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and a 10.1 inch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.

If you’re trying to figure out what’s with the S-Pen stylus, this tablet is refreshingly simple and of course, as with other similar tablets, it’s built to make computing easier, faster and better. The newly released Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is fully integrated with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the tablet offers a true tablet experience for all tablet lovers out there. It’s loaded with two cameras and an HD video functionality.

Thanks to the improved hardware and software apps for the S-Pen, business professionals now have a well-suited device for business presentations and hands-on demos. So what are we getting in the phone? This 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD screen is powered with 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 with Adreno 225 GPU. The camera has an F2.2 “5 element” lens, so that’s going to be clear shot. Padfone is a 3-in-1 punch that runs with one SIM for three devices.

The phone docks into a tablet body, similar to the Transformer Prime models, and plugs that it turns to keyboard dock. The Asus Padfone will be running Android 4, but we’re not yet sure which version. What we like about this smartphone-tablet-laptop is the stylus headset. It will be used for virtual sketchpad and works as a headset for phone calls.

It’s kind of weird to be talking with a pen, but this gadget seems to be perfect for tech enthusiasts. The stylus has a mic and speaker. This standalone device offers convenience and functionality. So watch out for the Asus Padfone, in April.

It won't be long before the Kindle Fire will lose its standing in the tablet market.  Thanks to a memo obtained by The Verge, we were able to confirm the release of a new version of the Nook tablet from creator Barnes & Noble. The Nook is a great tablet/ E-reader. But it has one problem - the Kindle Fire tablet from Amazon.

 With the goal of killing the market that has fattened Amazon's pocket, Barnes & Noble has decided to sell the next generation Nook for $199, a familiar price had we not realized that the Kindle Fire costs the same too. On top of that, the memo also revealed a launching date this coming February 22, Wednesday at exactly 12:01 in the morning.

 The said new Nook tablet will come with an 8GB internal storage. Based on documents, it's actually the same $249-value Nook that's in the stores right now except for the stripped-down onboard storage of 16GB. Wal-Mart will do the honors of introducing the 8GB Nook this Wednesday. Now that both devices are even, it's time to see who's going to dominate the low-range tablet niche this year.

It is confirmed. The next generation iPad will indeed sport a 2048 x 1536 retina display - true to previous rumors circulating around the web. You can probably still recall the seemingly endless assumptions about the iPad 3's features. Finally, as if to silence now misleading gossip, MacRumors has settled the issue once and for all by declaring the mythical ultra-high resolution retina display hearsay true. Apparently the folks were very lucky to grab an iPad 3 display from an unknown source. After careful analysis and some tests using a microscope, the display of the yet to be released iPad 3 has one-quarter the size of those found in the iPad 2. You can see the obvious difference in the photo below taken by the team during the test.

Amazingly, without any power supply to run the raw display, the light in the testing room was enough to highlight the iPad 2's 2x2 4-pixel cluster and the iPad 3's 4x4 16-pixel clusters. Judging from the findings, it is safe to assume that the iPad 3 will be sporting a full resolution 2048 x 1536 retina display. That's about as twice in linear resolution of its predecessor. And that would mean   sharper and crisper images in the iPad brand we well. One rumor down, two more rumors to go. There are also speculations that the iPad 3 will be equipped with new A6 SoC and LTE support. So, the waiting game has just begun with the official release of the device expected to transpire this coming March 7 via an official launch.

We have a new and exciting update for all tablet lovers out there! Acer has recently announced the arrival of their flagship tablets in stores this April. It will be released packed with Android 4.0. Updates were confirmed via the Facebook page of Acer’s New Zealand division. Both the A200 and A500 models will invade the stores with Ice Cream Sandwich, and you guys should be on the lookout.

It appears that the announcement did not exactly came from the Acer in the U.S. Release dates in America are not yet official, but we are certainly hoping that this April will be a general release. Let’s see what’s inside the hood of these A Series. The A200 and A500 are lightweight and smaller.

If you’re thinking of a magazine, the tablets are smaller than that. Lightweight and portable, that will describe the combo. The A200 is a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen tablet that is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core 1.GHz processor with gyro meter. There are many things that you can enjoy with these tablets. We’re talking about engaging HD videos and fantastic features with enhanced sound effects.

Plus, the preloaded games and Acer’s Social Jogger is a something you should be excited about as well. Acer has done a good job of planning the whole thing. From the low price point down to ICS integration, people are really excited about the next-generation tablets. Nobody wants to be left behind the tablet scene, and Samsung is one of those. It plunged into the next level of its Galaxy Tab 2 on the seven-inch platter to have Ice Cream Sandwich integrated. The company’s first line-up of tablets this year is coming. If you’re looking for a portable and light tablet, a Galaxy Tab 2.0 is the next in line. This is an ICS-laced follow-up to the seven-inch predecessor, both running with 3G and WiFi features and with only a few variations from the original one. It is packed with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 1024 x 600 LCD. One of the biggest changes is in its software.

Now the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 will be shipped with fresh Android 4.0 a.k.a. Ice Cream Sandwich. With ICS fully integrated in the device, faster performance and response across multiple platforms is expected. Other changes include the 3 megapixel rear-facing camera. Definitely, this seven-inch platter has a nice VGA camera upfront, HSPA+ connectivity and Bluetooth capabilities. For optimal multimedia, the Galaxy Tab 2.0 is upgraded with Samsung’s very own Touchwiz user interface that will enable users to customize Hub-widgets for one-step access to content in Hubs. According to the Samsung’s official press release, the device will be launched in the beginning of March in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, pricing has not yet been unveiled.

Fujitsu has officially announced the launching of a new tablet PC built for the corporate setting. The new device addresses the needs of the business professional who desires an effective and a practical device to use daily at work. The Fujitsu Stylistic M350/CA2 is a 7-inch touch screen tablet with a WSVGA display and a resolution of 1204 x 600 pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz Free Scale i.MX processor and it has a 512 MB RAM DDR3 and an 8GB internal storage.

The Fujitsu Stylistic M350/CA2 is also geared with a microSD slot, a mini HDMI port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity and it will be running Google Android 2.3, a.k.a. Gingerbread OS. One of the tablet’s primary advantage is its enhanced usability via both Android OS’s and Fujitsu's unique character input tools: "NX! input powered by ATOK" QWERTY input which boasts higher speeds and higher accuracy in recognizing kanji characters. This means that users can select between the numeric keypad input, the QWERTY input, and the hand-written input to best meet the user’s individual needs.

The tablet dimensions are 120 mm x 200 mm x 14 mm and it weighs about 420g, more than the previous version of the Fujitsu Stylistic MH350. Another notable feature is the battery which offers a range of up to 6 hours. The Fujitsu Stylistic M350/CA2 Tablet PC will be available in the second part of February in Japan at a price of $454. In spite of its weird-sounding name and the ordinary design, this tablet is still worth checking out.
